He is walking everywhere!!! He is into even more stuff than before. I can't believe he's getting so big. I can't believe how fast time flies.

He was sitting on the floor the other night quiet as a mouse watching a UFC fight. It was so cute. He is exactly like his dad. It scares me how much they're alike.

He has been playing outside alot lately since it's been pretty nice out. He also got into his Aunt Teiah's pool for the first time over the weekend. He was a little "iffy" at first but then daddy got in and he loved it. He's a little fish. I think we're going to have to go to the pool regularly since he liked it so much. I think it will be good for him.

He has had quite a few falls lately since he's been walking. He looks like I've beat him. I hope he starts to get a little less clumsy. I feel so bad for him when he keeps falling down all the time.

Gunner has mastered our staircase...I went into the kitchen lastnight to get his juice and before I even got to the kitchen I turned around to double check to see if the baby gate was up and he was already more than half way up the stairs....I kept thinking "what if he fell?" I felt horrible even tho nothing happend. Oh my! I turned my head for a second...WOW! I am going to have to make sure that gate stays there 24/7. He was laughing and giggling while going up the stairs. He is a little stinker. He knew he wasn't supposed to go up there, that's why he was going so fast and laughing. Again...he's just like his dad.

Well thats about all for now...Until next time:)

Got dirt?

Oh my goodness is Gunner funny. I woke up to him yesterday morning pulling my eyelashes and giggling. What a stinker!
He was watching American Idol with me the other day and he was standing in front of the TV dancing. He LOVES music. He was dancing and then would look at me and die laughing. Too funny. He makes me laugh on days that I feel like crying. God works in mysterious ways, that's for sure. I never thought a little baby boy could make me so happy.

It's been so nice out so Nana had been taking the boys outside to play. He has had a ball playing outside at Nana's house. He and Brody look like black babies when I get there to pick Gunner up. It's been bath night every night this week instead of every other night. Gunner loves it tho so it's fine by me. He even has a little baby tan. It's cute.

He is walking now and he is into even more stuff now. He still crawls a little but the walking thing is really taking off. He and Brody are both walking. They are two peas in a pod. They fight over toys, popsicles and whatever else they can find.
I'm still cleaning up after his birthday party. I keep finding chunks of icing everywhere. The party was outside but somehow I'm finding icing inside.
weekend is a long weekend so we'll be outside a lot. Gunner won't mind I'm sure. I think it's good for him to be outside.

He loved the attention.....

Gunner had his "official" first birthday party on Sunday. It was so nice. We had it at our house.
He was doing really well at the beginning and then he was starting to get sleepy and then the meltdown started. He screamed and hollered, cried and squirmed. He was so sleepy and starting to get crabby. I finally got him down for a nap and when he woke up he was a lot better.
He got a lot of nice clothes and some new fancy toys. Afer his nap he was diggin' the new toys. He loved them.
He loved his cake and the audience he had. He is such a little ham. He ate it up:)
I've realized that planning a little shin-dig like that is a lot of work and I'm already dreading the next one...well sort of. I'll be a little more prepared next time.

He also had his one year pictures done on Saturday. He did awesome. He is a natural when the camera is around. The pictures were so good. I can't wait until they come in and I can go pick them up. They are adorable. He looked like a "big boy." It made me a little sad seeing my little guy having his birthday pictures and party. Time flies by so fast! I treasure each and every moment with him. He's a pretty awesome "big boy."

Pretty cool kid...

Gunner is such a cool kid. I love having him around. We put a little tent/castle thing up in his room last night and he wouldn't get in it until mommy did. Once he figured out how to get in and out he loved it. It was so cute seeing him poke his little head out the door and giggle when he saw me.

He starting to get a little attitude tho and it's kind of annoying. He throws himself down on the floor or if I'm holding him he leans back and goes limp making me feel like I'm going to drop him. He's a stinker. Not real sure how to handle the temper tantrums yet...

Gunner decided that sleep was over-rated last night. Jim and I were so tired this morning.

Gunner decided that sleep was over-rated last night. Jim and I were so tired this morning.
We finally got Gunner's crib moved upstairs so hopefully we can finish getting everything else up there too and I can have my bed back. I just hope Gunner will sleep in the crib. **fingers crossed**
It's not that I mind him in my bed but he's eventually going to have to sleep in his own bed.

Gunner started to take about 4 or 5 steps last night. He was doing so good there for awhile and all the sudden the last few weeks he hasn't even tried to walk. I'm not really sure what's up with that but he's starting to try again. I have a feeling it's not going to be long before he starts walking. I think I'm going to need more baby gates...What do you think?

Gunner is starting to make these crazy faces at us..he scrunches up his face and has this cheesey smile and it makes me die laughing. He is too funny.
Also he's learned to spit....Yeah, I know. Daddy spits and then Gunny does. It's cute now but when he gets older it's going to be hard to get him to stop. I could smack Jim for teaching him that.
He is learning to fly up the stair case so we've had to put up a babygates and block him off to a few parts of the house. He is into EVERYTHING. He thinks everything he sees needs to go in his mouth.
We had our second mothers day together and it was kinda nice being someones mommy. Last mothers day he was only a few weeks old so it didn't really mean all that much but this year I enjoyed it a bit more. I love being a mom. It's the greatest feeling in the world. My heart swells when he's around. He makes my day when I see his face.
I had better go. I'm sure I'll have more news in a few days. He's figuring things out really fast.

Lastnight Gunner was hungry so I fed him some leftover veggie soup. Just let me tell you BAD IDEA!! He had runny orange poop and a belly ache from hell. I was up half the night trying to get him to go back to sleep. On Saturday I gave him the lovely blue cupcake for his birthday and it also made a funny lookin' color poo....WEIRD!

He is still battling allergies and he's on zyrtec for kids. He thinks it's a treat which is awesome. I just have to be sure he doesn't get into them thinking it's candy. That would be bad. He seems to be doing ok on that but only time will tell. I'm sick of the nasty runny nose. It's gross!

Nothing else is going on at the moment so I'll jump off here and get back to work...

UNTIL NEXT TIME.....

Welcome to the Gun Show...

Well I figured since Gunner just turned a year old I'd have a little more time to blog. We'll see how that goes. I'll do my best.

I'm new at this so hang with me.

Gunner just turned 1 on April 24th, 2009. I can't believe a whole year has went by. Time sure does fly.

Gunner is an adventerous little stinker. He is into everything and he's not afraid of much although the vacuum tends to freak him out a little.

He is almost walking. He takes a few steps and plops down on his bottom. He'll get the hang of it soon. His crawling suits him for now.

I will post pictures when I get a chance. I am a picture freak so I'm sure in time this will explode with pictures of Gunner. Who can blame a momma for lovin' her kiddo.
